Rainforestation is located 40 minutes from Cairns on the Kuranda Range Road, just outside Kuranda Village.
Rainforestation Nature Park is an all-weather attraction, home to the Army Duck Rainforest Tours on land and water, the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, and the iconic Australian animals in the Koala and Wildlife Park. The park is relatively flat with paved surfaces throughout. The army duck experience requires a transfer from a level loading platform onto the rear seat of the duck. The duck is equipped with removable armrests to facilitate easy transfers for people with limited mobility and the seat height is the same as standard wheelchair height. Disabled parking is provided in the top car park accessed via a driveway to the right of the building. The Shuttle Bus services between Rainforestation Nature Park and The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary in Kuranda Village are also accessible. Accessible toilets are available in the park.
