Victoria’s Parks and Gardens

Victoria is blessed with its multitude of parks and gardens.

In total there is over 4 million hectares including 3,000 land and marine parks and reserves making up 18 per cent of Victoria’slandmass, 75 per cent of Victoria’s wetlands and 70 per cent of Victoria’s coastline.

The parks and gardens cater for all needs from wilderness experiences, adventure activities like rock climbing, pristine beaches and coastal reserves, stunning ocean scenery and walks, to urban parks and historic botanic gardens.

Rhyll Inlet mangrove boardwalk

Cardinia Reservoir Park
