At the city end of the pier precinct is the Reef Casino. It offers another option for dining and entertainment. Entry is through double self opening doors with level entry into the foyer and its in-floor simulated fish tank. Tamarind Restaurant is the most awarded restaurant in Cairns, Recent Awards include Accor’s Restaurant of the Year 2017 for Pullman as well being a recipient of an Australian Good Food Guide – One Chefs Hat 2018. In addition to Tamarind’s fine dining experience other accessible dining options within the Casino are:

On top of the Casino is the Cairns ZOOM and Wildlife Dome – a wildlife park with zip lines & rope climbing, plus interactive shows with crocodiles & koalas. The dome is accessible via the main lift to level 2 and then via a ramp to the ticket office. Wheelchairs are then taken into the dome via the service elevator. The exhibits and wildlife experiences are accessible but the zip lines are not.
