Just 15 minutes from the centre of Cairns, Yorkeys Knob is a great location for a relaxing day on the beach. Facilities include, accessible BBQ’s, picnic tables, toilet. There is a swimming enclosure, lifesaving club and a concrete access path to the top of the soft sand. A beach wheelchair would be required for people with limited mobility. A paved path leads out to the headland lookout. The Ten06 cafe is right opposite the beach park and is accessible.
