There two designated areas to view the sunset of Uluru, one reserved for cars and the other for buses. The bus area is available to everyone until 4:00pm. Both areas offer step free access to uninterrupted views of Uluru. The car viewing area has designated disabled parking spots in each section of the car park.
The bus parking area is asphalt with a large viewing area of compact fine crushed rock. There is a designated disabled bus parking area immediately adjacent to the viewing area. The sand dune walk from the car park is soft sand which may be difficult to navigate for people using mobility aids.
There are no toilet facilities at the sunset viewing areas.
