Surrounding the lagoon is a substantial picnic area providing 12 BBQ facilities and associated picnic tables. Each BBQ facility has a bench at the end that provides roll-under access for food preparation and access to the last BBQ in each facility. Every picnic table in the park has roll-under access at both ends of the table with fixed bench seating down each side. Trees provide good shade. Roll-under drinking fountains are also provided throughout the park.
