Kata Tjuta dune viewing platform offers a stunning view of sunsrise on Kata Tjuta as well as a 360 view of the surrounding desert landscape. The car park has a designated disabled parking space immediately adjacent to the boardwalk leading to the top of the sand dune. The boardwalk is constructed of expanded metal and gently climbs to the top of the dune. At the top of the boardwalk is a solid viewing platform in two sections. The upper section has two steps onto it.
